Museum Wayfinding
For this assignment, I was asked to design wayfinding signs for a kid’s museum. The exhibits included Egyptian history, marine biology, space exploration, and a bug exhibit. I also designed auxiliary signage for the entrance/exit, cafe, and restroom. My goal was to keep the designs consistent and easily readable without any supporting text. I chose a vibrant, bold color palette to compliment the museum’s kid-friendly vibe. I wanted the signage to be immediately recognizable as well as visually appealing.
